Chinese Palace Restaurant

This Chinese restaurant has excellent food and great staff. The food is not greasy and it is not over salted. The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent.

Ordered takeout by phone, it was right on time and the food was delicious. Definitely is the better Chinese food option for this area (I’ve tried the others in the area, this one wins by a landslide) The décor in the restaurant could use some sprucing but the main objective is the food. Will be going back!

Horrible food, super cold and sparse spread. Most of the dishes share the same sauce, protein is so dry and Chewy.

The food is really good. But sometimes some of the items sit a little too long and become rubbery. They are pretty good and bringing out fresh food though. Its all about the timing. Worth the $20 after tax. Used to come here all the time and was happy to hear that it is the same owner for the past 30 years. 5 star rating comes from the egg rolls. They are the best. Filled with bean sprouts rather than cabbage. Sooo good.

Great service and cozy atmosphere. Had the Friday night buffet. All the food was picked over and everything was 3/4 onions. Did not see a single thing being refilled. No free refills on the pop and no dessert. I'd go back for the service, but not the food.

Authentic old style diner. Very helpful staff and friendly owners. We usually go for iron plate. Tasty food! Moderate pricing. Will be back for more.

Way too pricey for what they have. Nothing much on the buffet for kids, no salad and absolutely no dessert. Not worth the 19 bucks a person on a Saturday night. $2.50 for a fountain drink and no refills. We will never be back.

Had dinner combo. The gweillo sauce was really bland and metallic tasting(gummy). The rest was edible. A sauce would have paired well with the dry chicken fried rice.

This has been our "go to" Chinese restaurant for a very long time. Great food, staff, and price. We just had our annual Christmas family gathering there and they looked after the 15 of us wonderfully.

Family business...super and awesome staff. One of the owner always serves us & his brother is the chef. They have a good weekend buffet also.

Great food friendly people

All you can eat buffet Fri & Sat 5-8. Come early for a table. They have a break curd (tofu) dish. WOW

When we're too tired or too pressed for time to cook and need a Chinese takeout that's good for the whole family, Chinese Palace is our goto in Kingston's west side. Recommend dry stir fried beef rice noodle (ho fun) and Singapore-style vermicelli. Hot 'n sour soup is too plain for my tastes--vegetarian and tangy sour.

We hadn't ordered from here for quite a while, but did so last night. The food was really good! I had stopped ordering the Honey Garlic spareribs but decided to give them another try. So glad I did! Super meaty and yummy! Food was delivered hot and on time. We'll be doing the again for sure!s malware
